I really like this guy who’s recently day trading while streaming live on YouTube, being profitable (from what I could tell) and makes it feel like you can trade with him. His trading style seems similar to Ross Cameron’s (buying on intraday pullbacks), but you don’t have to pay anything to learn, watch or participate. It’s more like have a trading companion. https://youtube.com/c/PatrickWieland
He doesn't have many views yet, a few hundred to a few thousand per video. And of course you won't find anyone who'll come to your house, for free, and trade next to you while giving you a massage so that you don't complain. This is as close to free as it gets. I'm guessing he's just building his audience, and that's not such a bad thing until he starts building a commercial educational empire like some other traders.
You can earn $$$$ from - day trading OR - writing / talking OR - posting on youtube But you cannot earn money by posting your trades on youtube AND do day trading at the same time. If you know how to day trade, why must you post your trades on youtube? When you day trade, you want to be free from burden, free from stress, free from negative comments from viewers. Anyway, I am happy I don't have to watch such YouTubes.
Or leverage your knowledge and experience by doing ALL the above for multiple streams of income. You see WSOP poker champions selling books and courses too. And being paid commentators. It's smart.
nothing is easy money like trading and day trading is even more easy...once you learn it money is huge and if you count the effort put into which is just a glance........mentoring is huge effort...teaching too.....because you have answer a thousand questions. i discuss everyday with a friend and the questions he asks.......what a great effort it is
I respect your opinion but I see it differently. It is not OR. After trading for a long period I have made a decision to share what it takes to become a consistently profitable trader. The reasons for doing this are not monetary but to have some other needs that have to be filled. Recognition, interaction with people that have the same interests, are for me some of the things I do not get out of trading. I have tried giving the information and mentoring for free. That did not fly. From the last two years I have had about 20 people asking for help and only 1 committed enough to see it to the end. My opinion is that as soon you do something for free because you do not need the money, people do not take it seriously anymore. But if you ask for money, then there are always people like you that think they cannot trade and need to make money from teaching. It is a catch 22.
no problem to have different views. we have different experiences, values, competencies, exposures. so our views might be different.
