Day Trade Firm in NYC- Funny element to this one

I love this NYC day trade firm.

I love when you call and ask to speak with owner and they say "he's in a meeting".. In a meeting with who? And why is he always in a meeting when you call?

I love the professional email address they have; beastmaster9999@hotmail ( his is a tad different)

I also love when they refer to this nickel and dime operation as " the firm ".. Haha, yeah right!! a firm.

I also love when they send a statement from a hotmail or yahoo account..real professional.
NOT !!!!

I love all the various so called departments they claim they have.. Their accounting dept, human resources deot, risk dept, and technology department. All these so called departments is an office that amounts to a large bench next to a vending machine or old coffee machine with a bunch of recent college grads with university of delaware sweatshirts.

I also love the various knuckleheads that trade there. You have your group of religious jews from borough park brooklyn who all hop in a van and car pool to the firm. They use credit card checks to fund their accounts.
Then you have your mysterious chinese guy whom everyone refers to as a " heavy hitter" . This guy hops on a bus to AC as soon as the 4:00 bell rings.
Then you have the indian IT guy and the group of white boys from long island that care more about the Final Four than learning to gamble the right way.

I also love the response you get when you ask whatever happened to the other owner of the firm. They tell you he went in another direction and is now selling insurance..of course he is, he lost all his money and probably some of the firms taking big gambles on the market.

Finally, i love the hot puerto rican chick with the smokin body that serves as the firms secretary.

 

I can see a spread trade there.

You just described my old firm to the T sans the hotmail address. That's what it looked like on the outside. On the inside I saw these guys walk out of the office with 200k checks in hand for 2 weeks of work. Rest in peace Walter...

You forgot to mention the restroom that was so nasty it would make a billy goat puke.

Good Article Mav. Somewhere it mentioned Worldco paid 43 million in one year as commissions to banks in wall street.

I wonder how much Bright Trading pays today in commissions to WS banks in a year - 1 million?

 

Everyone thinks of a Day Trading firm like SAC's trading desk! If only the truth was known, I doubt this firm will be making the front cover of Active Trader Magazine?


I agree (Go long the secretary and short the firm!), I love hot, tall and built Hispanic Women with that beautiful long black hair! Lucky you! Test her, see if she knows how to make "Corn-Beef" Empenadas with chopped onions, tomatoes and bell peppers. Must be hand rolled and fried with a side dish of Fried Plantains and Flan for desert. I heard a couple of Puerto Ricans arguing with each other, Mother yelling at her daughter for not knowing how to make "the dish"! How much capital do you need to join this firm, it might be fun to become social again. Trading alone for almost a decade has made me a hermit.
