Hello, I realise how closely the XXX/USD pairs are linked to the DXY and how important it is to analyse the DXY in relation to these pairs. I would like to find a daily graphical analysis of the DXY. I follow a site that graphically analyses all the Forex pairs and a brief analysis of the DXY but I would like to find someone who analyses the fluctuations of the dollar every day (via a graph). Do you know of a website or group that carries out this analysis every day, which would be a great help in my analysis of the majors? Thanks in advance
The Intercontinental Exchange owns the rights to the dollar index. Currently, they have some of the highest fees of any major exchange. I build software and trading algorithms -- good enough to just build my own index using normalization scripts and aggregation. However, I do have a math degree and started out programming hacks for video games and then also programmed a videogame before trying with brokerage software. In the end I got away with outsourcing the hardest part (VBA). Just a tip, if you don't already have it, you can get volumes from futures exchanges and use it to trade forex. It can be hard to get solid volume data in FX.
