Hi, I remember years and years ago having spent quite a lot of time at dacharts.org I really owe Buffy and Jimmer and the systems they explained there in quite a lot of detail, and most of all Buffys outstanding explanations of price action, the success that it took me far too long to achieve if I'd just done what they taught. Instead of wasting far too many years searching for what deep inside I somehow knew didn't exist, but still went looking for, a holy grail that didn't miss moves and with hardly any losses. LOL Anyway, unfortunately the site seems only semi functional these days, but hey they were started in 2001 after all. Tried getting in touch with Buffy and Jimmer via their emails, but didn't get any answers. Just wanted to give them a VEEEEERY ENORMOUS THANK YOU for having eventually turned my trading around, entirely thanks to them, and wanted to know if anyone knows what happened to them, if they're still around. I remember having read here that another great contributor there, Mike Bruns, unfortunately died a couple of years ago. Would be fantastic to hear that Buffy and Jimmer are still around, enjoying what by now would be a rather ripe but hopefully happy and most definitely very wealthy old age !!! Anybody know ? Thanks
Buffy aka Judy MacKeigan seems to have dropped off the map, since early 00's. But only know of her through a Michael Jardine book, New Frontiers in Fibonacci Trading. Not familiar with jimmer.

I also want to thank Buffy, I learned a lot from her in the dachart chat during the good old days. Her system is still working well for daytrading.
Oh hi, wow, great to hear her method is still treating you well. Yep, she was a truly fantastic lady. Just reread sthg I had from her, where she'd said she was over 65, think this was in 2003 or roundabout there, so, yep, more likely than not I guess she is no longer amongst us. But I will be eternally grateful to her, she really made me see the light. Did you ever have direct contact with her ? Anyway, great to have read your post, and that you are another person who got trading to work because of her !!! All the best my friend.

Same thing I thought when I started reading her explanation of price action. With time I simplified a lot all that materials, and I can see MOF and Slingshot happening every day in the markets in lower timeframes. I did not have direct contact with her, I just spent a huge amount of time in the Ensign chat room. Sad to admit it... I miss those times a lot. One or two times per year I go through the dachart website hoping to find new activity...
Wished I would have done the same thing, spend time in that Ensign chat room, would have accelerated my journey no end, absolutely no doubt about that. Initially when I stumbled across her method I was a bit overwhelmed by all the stuff going on in her charts and went looking elsewhere, just wasting lotsa time chasing a holy grail I actually knew didn't exist. It was only years, yeah, haha, years later, that I really grasped the real genius behind what she was doing coupled with price action. I owe Judy and Jimmer 100 % of where I finally am trading wise. Sincerely hope this heartfelt expression of sincerest gratitude has reached them in whatever earthly or other realm they may be now. Very very happy you and I and Pennytrader and many many others no doubt eventually made it thanks to her.
PS you probably also still remember Nqoos, another great regular at dacharts right, plus had a great website of his own, trading-naked.com, unfortunately long gone since about 2017 or so, but also with lots and lots of trading wisdom. Last few times I checked there he'd had a message he was going to revamp and update his site, but guess he decided in the end he'd been doing that long enough, dunno exactly might have actually been since 1999, sthg roundabout there anyway.
