In other words 21.2 million who are not registered DACA need to be included to fix DACA. This is what it is like for minorities on the dem plantation. Oh, I doubt for a minute that Trump will not get credit for daca if a deal is passed because lefty hate does not work that way. But he will take the issue off the table and the dems will have no plan at midterms and 2020 other than working the issue of how trump wont protect the daca kids. If the issue gets settled, then they just continue to orbit lost in space with no message. Sure there are side issues they can work about how we are not accepting enough people from Haiti or giving immigration priority to cousins of daca kids etc. But does not create much heat and activism among either the lefties or the centrists who support daca. Get a full party, with full plans and full messages and some leaders who are not idiots or old recycled re-treads looking to go again. Have some pride for gawd sake. I don’t know about the democrats not having issues at the midterms. That tax bill is bigger than you think and my reading on that is showing it is not going to show up in people’s paychecks. Most people will see a marginal increase smaller than Obama’s stimulus payroll tax cut and he got no credit. The majority of the so called tax cut is actually the child tax credit increase, so if you don’t have children you may actually see a tax increase. People can feel the discord Trump has sewn into society. Some like it, most don’t. The midterms can really be a referendum on decency too.
Most of your dem friends are among the 48% who don't pay any taxes as it is- so I don't doubt that things like doubling the standard deduction are anything you will hear them talking about. But you have Hillary, and Oprah, and Maxine out there leading the charge. So go get em Tiger.
