Cycle Analysis

  1. Hey Guys,

I have been trading since 2019 and have had plenty of success and failures along the way but staying in the game for over 3 yrs. has taught me a lot!

I started studying time cycles and have found that there are consistent and predictable rhythms in the markets. From W.D Guann to 7 and 10 yr cycles, I have found that cycles have been accurate and as specific to the exact day. I made 150% in 2022 following Guann time cycles. One of my favorite gurus is Steve Miller. If you want to improve your timing, I highly recommend following Steves research. Here is one of his recent videos showing the rhythm in SPX.

  2. It's Gann,mate.

I think if you had studied him extensively you would know that.

But I agree with the general flavour of the post, after all, there is nothing in the universe except mathematical points of force.

  5. Thanks. Some interesting stuff in there.

Are you an advocate of these calculations to add weight to your levels of interest?

Trading cycles has an appeal to me, but I have never been able to get them to work sufficiently well to have a positive expectancy. However, reading Ehlers work has forced me to learn about digital signal processing, which is a good thing.

Why does everyone assume that everyone else is a swing trader that holds for weeks? How about cycles for the day trader? There are a lot more of us!
