CV - Election too Risky - Trump serve second term

Given the state of affairs with the virus, perhaps it makes sense to forego this year's election, and allow President Trump to serve a second term?

An election in these conditions is ridiculous.

With all the bodies lying in the street I think its time for serious discussion of delaying the election for a couple of years until things are stable.

The President has awesome emergency powers that people are not aware of. He can dismiss Congress, for safety reasons of course. That would be a good start.

 

And when Trump declares martial law you will not need all those pesky legislators who just slow everything down and you won't need all the elections for them.

So, there's another efficiency gain right there.
