Current price range of trading seminars/classes

  1. What is the current range of prices that most trading seminars charge? If you could please include the name of the company offering them.

It isn't the cost of the seminar that is going to give you pain, it is all the losses you will most likely get when you try it at home. Think about it, if you can trade well, why would you be wasting away your time for a crummy few thousand bucks when you can make that a day?

Most will never give you monthly statements for past 3 years cause many don't trade. I only know of one guy on ET that offers them, but I have not taken his seminar so I can't recommend him.

Seminars and courses are really better geared for when you have several years of experience and looking to add to what you are doing. The major problem with much of what is out there, when it needs to be "tweaked", you don't have the years of experience nor ability to know what needs to be done.

I suggest you read thru ET, spend the time it takes to read charts, trading is very long hours and tough work to figure out what makes sense to you. You will first learn all the negative emotions you never knew you had and you have to learn to accept.

Courses can run between $50 and $100,000.

    Good luck.

  3. Thank you for your contribution. My question really stems from wanting to know how teachers value/price their sessions. Could somebody please provide the name of some vendors? OTA is obviously the best known.

  4. Sounds like you getting ready to do some snake oil selling of your own, so the transparent answer with words of wisdom from Handle rubbed you the wrong way.
