Cuomo says he’s offended by mafia references — so why does he act like Sonny Corleone?

  1. Governor, do you recall how your brother was so offended when critics called him Fredo? Or your father’s famous rage at media talk of the mafia?

But if your family is so offended by comparisons to “The Godfather,” why do you keep acting like a two-bit don?

Assemblyman Ron Kim says he was bathing his children at home when “Gov. Cuomo called me directly on Thursday to threaten my career” if Kim did not walk back comments about Cuomo and COVID deaths in nursing homes. “He tried to pressure me to issue a statement, and it was a very traumatizing experience.”

The governor of New York then told his fellow Democrat that “we’re in this business together and we don’t cross certain lines and he said I hadn’t seen his wrath and that he can destroy me.”

Bullying, threatening, Cuomo even made some baseless ethics charges against Kim to round things out. All that’s missing is the horse’s head in the bed.

Cuomo’s fury is infamous; most of his aides walk in fear of his tantrums — which is one reason his staff turnover is so high. But threatening a legislator in this way is a new low.

Gov. Cuomo is used to the friendly environment of his brother’s CNN show, and he’s furious that the media and politicians finally have discovered the extent of the nursing home COVID debacle and his coverup.

For Cuomo, it’s not just politics. It’s always, always personal.

  2. CNN moves to protect Fredo and the network from further total embarassment.

Fredo, CNN, and the Governor turned the whole covid fiasco into a live entertainment comedy routine that brought star ratings to all of them.

Now that the public and others want to see further interviews where things are not quite so funny and the focus is instead on Cuomo splainin his death camps, CNN is suddenly reinstating a “rule” that prevents Chris Cuomo from “interviewing or covering his brother”

Asswipes, all of them. They should be in prision.

CNN says it reinstated a ban on Chris Cuomo covering his brother, Gov. Cuomo

  3. Some entertainment value here.

I wonder if the famous Cuomo Brothers Comedy Team is yukking it up on CNN today.

Probably not but you never know. Most likely they have switched in some reports on Roger Stone or Paul Manafort to divert attention. It's what they do.

  5. Oh yeh. the kissy-faced kabuki dance between Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo just got a whole lot more complicateder.

Don't miss the video in the article where Don and Chris give each other a big wet kiss just before Don has to bite on the glove and report on the Governor. AWKWARD MUCH???

They are missing the good old days where "everyone" knew that Trump was the only target 24/7 and the could just sit together and self-stimulate and stimulate each other while taking shots at Trump.

It's going to get worse too. Chris Cuomo has been implicated in colluding with his brother to come up with spin to fend off the accusers and discredit them. In other words, he was part of the story while using CNN to report on it.

I wonder how Don will handle that. Maybe by putting on a mask while he is reporting on it. Yeh, that will work. OR NOT.

  6. Wow, this nut needs to be reined in.

Law enforcement absolutely needs to go to his house and confiscate any weapons he has on an emergency basis. With appropriate court order. And CNN should get a restraining order to keep him away from any CNN employees or locations.

It is not for him to decide whether he is okay now or not. He has a lawsuit against CNN but if he loses that he good suddenly be dangerous again.

Chris Cuomo dramatically reveals he was 'going to kill everybody, including myself' after he was fired from CNN: 'Things can consume you'
