Are whales realizing their gains or is the retail segment changing its stance on crypto as a decentralized currency?
It is a misconception that whales are better at market timing than the average Joe. Sure they can influence the price by dumping coins all at once, but that is different from market timing. What most likely happened in the last days that miners started to sell their reserve coins. Then weak hands also sold and it all cascaded from there. Apparently they only sell daily 30-50% of the new coins, so they have decent reserves.
The people who bought the first BTC in 2009 and held their investment till today, lost in one week between 30 and 50% of the entire profit they made during 12 years. That sounds/is horrible. Does not sound like the ideal investment.
Exactly. Years ago I assumed that the big funds knew things we did not know as small trader, so they had much more winning trades. I realized, after being a few days on visit at the trading desk of a big financial group, that this was not true. I witnessed that even the most famous traders sometimes missed the trade completely.
I cannot see posts from virtusa-is-a-LIAR That dude claims 1000%+ returns year after year and should be a billionaire but cannot post a simple screenshot good riddance
why don't you post or pm your list of liars. Usually they make me laugh but some people might be taken in by their nonsenses.
Hah, he's another fuckbag that ignored me I-don't-know-when. Good riddance indeed. Who are all these fags who keep ignoring people because they cannot handle something they don't like to view or read? Wimpy lalas, all of them. They would never have survived the days of the Internet before the WWW, when there was no nanny-state filter to protect their fragile egos.
