There's no capital gains tax since there is no sale of crypto assets Using Bitcoin and crypto assets to get a mortgage 100% of the loan backed by the crypto assets, no downpayment is requred Before Milo and there's another one on a thread I started, the LTV is 50% on BlockFi, Celsius, Nexo and other crypto lending firms and with very short term agreements This is a real game changer for Bitcoin and crypto hodlers who do not want to sell their crypto assets but want to purchase real estate or cars or other properties https://elitetrader.com/et/threads/...-s-crypto-mortgage.364281/page-2#post-5567146
And we need taxes to pay for the next $6.3 trillion infrastructure bill with all sorts of pork and woke side projects. Muh, tax avoiders!
Correct, this is to avoid capital gains on the transaction. So you transfer X amount of crypto to a third party and are loaned an amount in USD. Presumably if the crypto market falls, you're fcked.
Ive seen this and some asking to pay their mortgages in crypto. Its so crazy the adoption that is happening with i think it is the mayor of Miami taking his salary in crypto too. Seems like its such a massive opportunity but still doesnt feel real at times
