This thread topic is "borrowed" from a very generous person i met along my journey. the purpose of this thread is to attract PA based traders to discuss different views of of the daily PA in Crude Oil I'm posting the hindsight part of my daily routine, and encourage others to jump in and contribute to the discussion. Please - No MA, MACD, RSI and alike ... only price bars (volume is ok too ), and your interpretation of it I try to act at the extremes, which are (for me) usually 60m levels. i look for reversals and retracement, that's pretty much it, i focus on 5m bars (found my comfort zone...) So do you want us to interpret today's pa and try to determine what it will mean for tomorrow or do you want us to put on a chart where we placed trades based on the pa at that moment in time and our reasoning for it? As far as today it just seems like typical consolidation and using Friday's LVA around 95 gave me a clue to cover a 100/93 strangle at around 12:30 to get slightly less long. Basically if we stay above 94 until after 10 tomorrow we should take a shot at 96.30. If we get below today's low obviously IV will spike and we could see 92 in 20 mins.
I really have no idea of how to read your charts, can you please provide some literature that can help us understand what is it that you are pointing to, thanks.
finally one more, now we are a crowd , i had a very long day, and as a result i'm sure my hindsight view suffered i'm sure people are curious about execution so i'll stray from the original thread subject Tomer
My initial reason for this thread was to find traders that trade like me, in order to share/discuss our ideas. i now see its impossible for others to understand what i do and relate/participate. (if any) This "Hindsight" is the last chapter of the trading day for me From now own i'll post the charts with the the execution (hopefully it will trigger a discussion) and the larger view. Tomer.
