I expect crude would mostly move between $100 - $20. Has anyone tried range trade of crude? If I use very low leverage, I think I have high provability of survival. I think I should use CFD because I have limited budget and therefore I need very low leverage (execution quality doesn't really matter here). The following is a hypothetical loss when price moves $80 against me in a year (The very minimum contract size allowed by my broker was used in this calculation). If my deposit is $10K, I can stand most black swan events I guess. I will also use hedging (buy and sell at the same time) which is allowed by my broker (IC Market) for faster turn over and lower margin requirement. Can it work? What do you think?
