    Hi everybody
I'm a day and swing trader and also a developper, so I would want to create a free online trading journal with all statistics whose will be able to use by everybody (day trader, long term trader, equity, option and forex).
I need some help and because all the brokers and/or platform are differents, the export file as well.

So from myself I have files format from IB and tastyworks, and I would have need from:
tdameritrade, thinkorswim, lightspeed, das trader pro, tradestation, robinhood.

Could you please provide and upload an export file (of course doesn't matter if the trades are true or not) in your answer with the platform and the broker name?

Thanks in advance for your help.

  2. What do you mean by an "export file"?
It's unclear what you want. Be more precise.

  3. If you make one with a Rest API I will be your best client.

  4. It is ver clear, he wants example files from every broker so he can build a parser in order to import them into a database. He uses two brokers, so those are the ones he has so far.

  5. Still unclear, b/c there are dozens of "file formats" per broker. Which one is he interested in?
A trade list of a trader. How is that going to be useful for other traders? I just ask.
And what does he mean by "free online journal"?

    Hi
if there are a dozen of file format for a broker, only one is enough and I will explain on the website which format they have to choose.
What is a free online journal?
An online journal is the list of all the trades you made, and all are computed as statistics informations like: % win rate, % $ of winning and loser trade, average duration,.....
You will be able to create a playbook as well with your screenshot and add a tag for each trade for have statistics by strategies.
Also a portfolio manager for your long terms positions.

    hope it will help you

  8. The point of having an online journal is that you can link people to your trades. Ideally you would give others a link so they could browse your trades and see your performance statistics.

It is useful, as there are many paid services for that.

no need to create something that's already there. It's free for up to 30 trades/m and all the brokers are already integrated.
