CQG DOM Recorder

Does anyone know of a simple way to record depth of market info from CQG Integrated Client?

My optimal goal is to record the info and then be able to replay it by every change in the book and show it as a tick chart for the trades. Can this be done somewhat easily or is this just wishful thinking?

use the cqg.net api and write the book to a file

 

you can also use excel RTD to record the information... and "replay" it with VBA...

 

Will the API require coding knowledge? I have no experience with coding apart from some basics with codeacademy.
