The medical regulator also said vaccinations should be carried out only in facilities that have resuscitation equipment. Be smart and be careful. It's your body and your life. Not someone else's.
Over 10 days old the reuters. If you are an adult and have never experienced anaphylaxis, you won't and yes, they need Epi-Pens available.
The articles you linked to suggest a surprising level of safety and very low level of adverse reactions. EVERYONE SHOULD GET IMMUNIZED UNLESS THEY KNOW THAT IN THE PAST THEY HAVE HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO ONE OF THE VACCINES INGREDIENTS. Be smart. Do your part.
That's is not an absolute, but statistically it is well supported. And yes, everywhere vaccines are administered there should be quick access to EpiPens and injectible Benadryl.. That's what would concern me about getting vaccinated at Walgreens. EpiPens are I believe -- I hope i'm wrong -- a prescription item. Why I don't know. It makes no sense from a health perspective. But then many things make no sense other than from a profit perspective.
I have a vision in my head of them saying the card was declined for the EpiPen/Benadryl.. I'm sure you get that as part of the shot in the rare event? Two cases, ten days ago. Cooking programs cause as much or more by having some unusual ingredient. There will be some, its just unavoidable.
So many other drugs people just meh.. the risks, statins for example. Wonder how many trumpsniffers are on these ... https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20200108-the-medications-that-change-who-we-are
All locations giving vaccinations are require now to have EpiPens available in the same location (not somewhere else) as those giving the vaccinations after those two earlier incidents of allergic reactions. In addition, after been given the Covid-19 vaccination...the person are require to wait there in the center for a minimum of 10 mins with a nearby nurse monitoring the vaccinated individuals. wrbtrader
Exactly, if hospitals giving vaccinations are require to have EpiPens and other anti-histamines plus a nurse to monitor those that just got their vaccination... Will there be a nurse and EpiPens on standby in places like Walgreens ? wrbtrader
Why would a young healthy person wish to get a vaccinated? Seriously. Particularly, why would parents of healthy kids risk the unquantifiable risk related to this new mRNA vaccine? High risk... I would give it a "shot" myself. But healthy kids... there are no firm reasons to take the risk right now. In fact given what they don't know... there is zero reason at the moment. Before you have a nutty reaction... take a deep breath and list the positives vs the negatives for healthy kids.
