Hi guys, So I wanted to ask your opinions about buying country bonds, what types of charts would you recommend to follow, and it seems to be a lack of information about them. It's different from traditional trading, IK, but it's captivating anyway. I remember that an Argentinian ex-president was doing a big move trading different country bonds from around the world, got a big win, and reinvested the earnings in real estate developments in another South American country. So! Any comments? Would appreciate your perspectives! Cheers & Enjoy the holidays!
The best country(government) bonds are in China, as US citizens we cannot buy commie bonds but I see you are in semi commie EU, so it may non issue. There is an ETF based on Chinese Gov Bonds (paying about 3%). https://www.blackrock.com/americas-offshore/en/products/308851/ishares-china-cny-bond-ucits-etf-fund https://www.blackrock.com/americas-...res-china-cny-bond-ucits-etf-fund#chartDialog
Interesting! I saw this article today on Yahoo Finance too: China to leapfrog U.S. as world's biggest economy by 2028: think tank ,so I think it might work for a long term strategy, although deeper research is needed! Thank you for your reply
I am contemplating buying some (Chinese bonds). I almost bought BABA stock but Xi has a hard-on against them now and I think I would not want to be in his way...Further, I own some country bond ETFs(non-Asia) where you are more diversified. I would buy a few to diversify and spread your risk around to get the best yield. But Asia is the best to focus on.
