I am not going to watch football
I will be avoiding under armour and nike and other brands these NFL players endorse

and I will continue to be saddened over what these leftist losers have done to our country...

    until someone in the NFL

explains what exactly they are protesting...
If it is still what Kaepernick was protesting...

    for BLM...

I expect NFL ratings to drop significantly.
If I had the money I would be organizing the USAFL.

Seriously Obama was president of the United States.
These guys make millions and the owners have billions.

Are they being oppressed? I thought most of them were black?
So who the hell is being oppressed in the black community and who is doing it?
    Are there no programs?
Do then not have access to cash, housing, obama phones?

Now if they wanted to get into specifics and and say sometimes in the workforce they do not do as well as others = I say... lets discuss it, maybe we can fix it but discussing facts.

But... till one of these NFL types has a real dialogue on this subject...

I will be exercising my rights to stand up for the flag of this really great nation. Not perfect but great.

  2. They are protesting the Republican Party, nothing more.
The liberal media/schooling brainwashing of blacks that they are somehow oppressed.
Never mind that more than half of the multi millionaire players grew up in lower class
Neighborhoods and have lived the "American Dream".
    Typical moronic liberal hypocrisy.

    My serious question :

Why are conservatives upset over a bunch of black people kneeling during the national anthem? I thought they were the ones who supported freedom of speech and expression even if that speech or expression offended others, such as saluting the flags of america's enemies (namely the nazis and the confederacy) or saying extremely inflammatory or insensitive things.

Is it a patriotism thing? But then how is saluting the nazi flag (an enemy that killed hundreds of thousands of our nations greatest generation) okay?

Is it because these players are rich? Do the rich businessmen who donate to both parties have a right to express themselves? Did trump when he was a private citizen?

Is it because these players are using a private organizations platform? The organization doesn't seem to mind - and forcing them would violate their rights under the conservative belief structure.

Shouldn't every conservative on her be exclaiming: we disagree with your opinion but support your right to express it!

why are conservatives upset by this?

I do support their right to express it.
I also support my desire to view sports free from political bullshit.

I can tell you where and how blacks were most hurt by systemic racism.
I can also tell you where and how blacks are systemically ruined by some very bad laws put in place by liberals.
I also can't stand it when people make racist hurtful remarks against people because of the color of their skin...

But... I also support my desire to enjoy sports free from political bullshit.
Until a player can accurately describe what the heck they are protesting... and work towards making a change...

I will exercise my rights to protest political bullshit during sports.

  5. Let's be honest. We are not talking about big brain intellectuals. Most of these players are severely below average in intelligence and lacking basic judgment and impulse control. They are easily manipulated by race hustlers. That is why I reserve most of my criticism for the owners and league management. They pretend to support our troops, law enforcement and their communities but fall all over themselves to support thugs who actually support killing police. Unacceptable.

You are a complete moron. If I don't agree with these scumbags disrespecting the country, I have every right to call them out as assholes. Its called free speech.

When exactly did these people pretend to support our troops, law enforcement and communities? In fact, I bet most of them drove home listening to some rapper taking about how he sells drugs and kills his fellow black people. None of them get the irony at all.

    that is the risk...

there is a risk the lucrative part of the audience which advertisers are willing to pay big dollars for its going to shrink dramatically.

I lost most of my interest in watching live games because there were so many commercials.
Plus, the defenses and their players now are so good that most running backs are no longer interesting they way they once were.

The games are so slickly packaged they are no longer that interesting and frankly there are too many teams and games. Its the same formula and same insights.

We were lucky to speak with a few players this week... and we learned... this.
This player works long an hard with the films.
    This coach is special because....
Then a background story about over coming obstacles.

Then the game starts and its how this is one of the 20 top 5 QBs in the league.. or the struggling QB.

    ----

This flag protest could snap the audience in half.
