  1. Anyone else trading cotton right now? I'm trading ICE Cotton No. 2 and it's doing great coming off that bottom. Limit up yesterday held and more today, so far.

  2. I missed the move last week, I was thinking aboutit just enver got around to it I guess. Good trade man, make some dough!!

  3. got long some last week, was stopped out, then bought up a bunch on Friday around 40.75 and sold half yesterday, have a trailing stop on the rest...all basis the March. Its also a great contract to daytrade...much like coffee.

I'm long some March 75 calls and short the 110's from a while ago. i'd like to see a rally and think we are now in it. the weakening dollar is helping as well.

  5. Wow...talk about OTM! Did you put those on back in the spring??

aboyt 90 days ago on the 110's i sold them at 30
on the 75's i bought at 45 abour 30 days ago trying to pick a bottom. I just think we'll see a pop in cotton and march gave me some time to wait. But I really hate buying options as i make my income as a premium seller but i figure playing a hunch and buying some lottos in cotton is a small risk.

  9. I don't trade ag futures but whats usually the requirments to do so as far as funding? Mostly just stocks and options, ag though to me sounds more interesting. Could you post a chart after that cottom move?

    There is the chart.

As far as funding requirement, thats an ambigious question. It all depends on what you are doing but in general Initial Margin requirements for Ags is the lowest compared to most futures contracts
