Costco has made an announcement. All of the toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, wipes, Lysol, water bottles, and rice hoarded by people by the cart and truck full will not be taken back. Signs in the store read (in all caps), "RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON TOILET PAPER, PAPER TOWELS, SANITIZING WIPES, WATER, RICE, LYSOL."

Their was a guy in Vancouver who bought something like 100k of stuff. Rented trucks and just bought pallets of stuff. Was making a killing on Amazon until they shut him down. Stuck with the inventory now lol .

I would think a manager would step in and say no you can’t have our whole inventory.

Good they shouldn't take anything back, because they are greedy and it could cause the virus to spread more by that stuff coming back into the store

If a guy does it, it is a crime. If big pharma does it, it is capitalism.

They should be allowed to do it if they want to. There's no shortage of toilet paper, let them drown in it.

  8. People with tons of TP on their hands need to find a business use for it. One Chinese restaurant is advertising, "Free roll of TP with each entree".

Even a smaller grocery near me said they weren't accepting any returns, said after this virus is done they will once again start accepting returns. They didnt specify if toilet paper and rice were not to be returned after they lift the restrictions, but it seems that costco is right for not allowing those returns. Let them use it for the next 4 years.
