I am fascinated by the State of Maine. The State, as I recall, has one of the lowest COVID infection rates in the US. The largest private employer in the State is the hospitality business. The Summer season makes or breaks the State economy. And the Governor has recently said that bars will be closed until some time in July - which was an extension.

But Maine and local jurisdictions are still collecting the liquor license fees - which are many thousands of dollars.

It’s a fair argument to say that some State and Local officials have been “moving the goalposts”. In March, the mantra was “flatten the curve”. Now some are talking about shelter in place until a cure is in place.

Hey, today finally stupid Pennsylvania opened up the state owned liquor stores. That was one of the dumbest things to close down, resulting in thousands going over the border to buy booze in WV, NY and NJ.

Then I guess the state realized they are losing too much revenue to other states, and really, what is the difference between a booze and a grocery store?

Anyway, finally I got my brandy today. The rules was no more than 11 people in the store, and that was no biggie because on average usually they have 5-6 costumers.

My brandy tastes way better than Clorox.

It's easy to catch, so easy, your better off going to the bar ( to catch and get it over with then you can't give it to them ) and just not visiting your grandparents at all.

What the hell is the difference between getting your liquor in a store across state lines, or one in your home town? Nothing! Same distancing rules apply! All you did was waste gasoil....AHHH! It's an energy play the oil companies cooked up, to get more demand for gasoline!

Good grief man...We're all becoming Costupid.
