Most of us in the US don't believe and don't like to wear masks but here is a research supported wearing masks:

You can’t go inside any place down here without a mask. It’s mandatory

That’s good for the people scared to death of getting infected.

"placed in cages with no partition had become infected" How close where the cages to each other. Sounds like right next to each other.

Over how long a period of time? I doubt it was 10 mins.

When they say "infected" what do they mean? Doesn't sound like any hamsters actually died.

Most fatal cases of the Wuhan China virus occur when someone is exposed in close proximity of an infected person for an extended period of time.

Wearing a mask is going to become like taking your shoes off at the airport.

There is a little science here but I certainly would not base public policy on it.

If I am not "infected" and you are not "infected" wearing a mask is feckless.

In summary - If you are ugly wear a mask.

That's actually not true, it seemed that way doctors and nurses dying, but although slight bump because there getting it sooner, the death rate is spot on for there age pretty much, just there are in the UK about 1million Doctors and Nurses so the 100 dead mostly 50+ is only 0.01% of them.

Just media hype!! PPE not required unless you in that 0.01% that'll it'll kill ofcourse, but they you could get it like everyone else in your local corner shop anyway.

Also you can be infected and not know so the mask is still good, but unless your 75+ or around a lot of 75+ year olds, it's a waste of material.

    Save the planet!!

And I am, I was against Masks, but hmmmm new image maybe :)
