Corona Virus Relief Package. As usual, an embarrasment.

The more I read about this "COVID relief package", the more asinine it is.

Rand Paul calling out Republican hypocrisy. And he's right.

No one read this bill before they passed it (other than the lobbyists who wrote it). Also, foreign aid in the bill:

But hey, most people get $600! Well done, guys. Bunch of hacks.

And Dopey Trump will sign it.

Cruz tweeted earlier that it is "ABSURD" to have "a $2.5 trillion spending bill negotiated in secret and then—hours later—demand an up-or-down vote on a bill nobody has had time to read."

Any word on the corporate bailouts or we're just focusing on breadcrumbs in this thread?

After months of negotiations this is what we end up with? Embarrassment is an understatement.

A year-end spending package meant to provide Americans with economic relief during the Chinese coronavirus crisis includes using United States taxpayer money to fund border security in foreign countries.

As part of the more than 5,590-page spending bill, the deal provides the country of Jordan with “up to $500,000,000” in taxpayer money “to provide assistance to the Government of Jordan to support the armed forces of Jordan and to enhance security along its borders.”

Likewise, the bill gives $250 million in taxpayer money to the countries of Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, and Oman for “enhanced border security.” Specifically in Lebanon, the bill gives taxpayer money to “secure the borders” of Lebanon.

No different than Nancy Pelosi saying we have to pass Obamacare to find out what is in it. Most of the serious problems the US has right now were created long before President Donald Trump came to power. Globalists made up of RINO liberals and Democrat extreme liberals have sold out the US to foreign interests a long time ago. They also, make up the majority in Congress in both houses. President Donald Trump made substantial changes based on what he had and that is why the globalists hated him with a passion. Why do you think the RINO liberals turned their backs on him? They had no problems when President Donald Trump was fundraising for their worthless asses and going on rallies to have them re-elected? Now, they feel they are in full control again so, do not need President Donald Trump? Why do the extreme liberal Democrats and RINO liberals getting a pass when they continue to sell out the US to foreign interests? The massive theft of military and technology secrets continue unabated while, the globalists cry Russia, Russia while, the globalists in Congress take payoffs from China in the millions and look the other way. Look at the advanced fighter jets the Chinese military has which are exact clones of US fighter jets? How did they get such technology and military secrets?

  6. Government breaks your leg, argues for months about cost of the cast, ends up giving you a broken crutch for you to walk with on your now permanently disabled leg, and what, we're supposed to be grateful? Meanwhile corporations have been given bionic legs to trample us with. These motherfuckers aren't worth the price of a bullet it would take to get rid of them.

I'll start to be concerned when interest rates are greater than the rate of economic growth. That might happen if capital suddenly finds some place to go. Perhaps some new, marvelous technology will be that place to go. But then, I suppose the rate of economic growth would start rising. Hmm.

Anyway, Rand, you should have been spewing your blabber DURING Trump, not after.

Edit: this is no defense of that other spending, or the pathetic nature of $600, one-time.

Focus on whatever you want, or just troll like you usually do.

If there is something about the bailout you like or dislike, here is the place to discuss it.
