For years - ever since Rodney King was brutalized by a gang of thugs in blue uniforms - I have heard the tired adage, "Well, it's not like he left the house and planned on shooting someone today."

    They put boots to Rodney.

Back in 2014, cell phone videos were capturing police brutality at an alarming rate. The media was propagating a lie about how dangerous cop work actually is. My Dad's a retired cop.

Less than 200 cops die every year!

However, a hero who was once employed as a cop, started shooting cops. When those chicken shit cops found him holed up in his hideout, they burned the place down.

Savages - not Native Americans - like the ATF, FBI, and the Sheriff's Department didn't want to engage with a trained military dude practicing guerilla warfare on a corrupt system.

Then one day, another video appeared. "I can't breathe" is now a part of the American lexicon.

What cop Killers couldn't do, the magic of modern social media did do!

We heard the pleas. They were caught on video. Eight minutes of good cops standing around, running interference for the bad cop, showed everyone what time it is.

So one guy goes to prison. That's a step in the right direction. Police are "snitching" on their own now. That's a great thing.

But I will tell you the only way to truly solve this problem.

It will take a change in culture. As long as the police continue to cover up for corrupt cops, don't tell me they are good cops. Don't snitch is gang mentality.

So which way is it? Are the majority of cops good citizens who will voluntarily expose police brutality? Or is that snitching?!

    I don't own a gun. I'm just writing.

The thin blue line is more akin to the Rich Man's Gang!

One more thing. Garbage men and plumbers save more lives every year than every cop throughout history.

Watch how many people died if the sewage doesn't work, the water is tainted, or garbage piles up in your city.

So it's best to thank those guys and gals for their service. For those dirty cops, they deserve what they get.

Didn't you used to have a thread titled "Beer and bad trading decisions" somewhere on the forum? Your avatar pic has changed, but I can swear that was your nick...

That was someone else. My avatar pic has changed, but this is the same screen name.

The guy you're talking about was an insurance actuary who traded options (if I remember correctly).

K, carry on. Hell of a missive by the way! Impressive. I will not touch it with a 39 1/2-foot pole. :)
