Conservatives push for audits of school libraries

“I don’t want to ban books. I don’t want to be a book burner. My goodness, no,” said Cuzela, 49, whose children have attended public school for years in Katy. “I’m not into censoring. That is not what this is about. We filter students’ internet access. We have keywords, trigger words, that we know people shouldn’t have access to as a minor. So why isn’t that same process in the school libraries?”

One of the books, "Lawn Boy," refers to oral sex between boys, and the other, "Losing the Girl," features LGBTQ characters.

Had I read a book with two guys kissing as a kid I would have done what straight boys do, been disgusted and put the book back.

It's nary so easy/possible to normalise gay for heteo guys, but there are gay guys, straight guys and in between and the former would probably entertain the book because that's how they swing. Big deal.

Now back to the new season of Dexter, much healthier for kids.

No need to worry about kids, they handle all subjects without a problem as long as they haven't yet picked up their parents hang-ups. It's the parents we need to be concerned about!

  8. I don't understand this attitude towards LGBT people. And that knowing this will not make their children gay or transgender. It's all part of education. No one says about the Bible, which describes things much worse. Education should be carried out in all areas. For this, such services as online libraries have been created, which help all students in their education. A conservative attitude towards learning will take us back to the 20th century. I don't see any benefit in this, do you?

  9. I agree with you. For example, my kids have known about LGBTQ+ from five years of age. And now they are ordinary kids who are better understand interpersonal relationships than others. Is it bad? I think no. I also introduce them to different sources. Their favorite one you can see here, it is an excellent service where you can find any information for your educational work and your overall development. The professionals here indicate your mistakes and learn the right approach to the task. It would be good if someone taught conservators the right approach to life.

RWers want to shove gays back into the closet. First step - being gay = pedophile groomer.

Second step - use teachers to raise the alarm level.

Hammer on it 24/7 and before long they will have succeeded in brainwashing the entire right wing. The world's easiest job.
