I work in the EU division of a multinational company (i.e. American) that not long ago acquired said EU company. Leaving aside the 200+ highly educated and skilled colleagues, I myself have at least 3 x 1 billion dollars ideas which is a lot less than the total cost for paying salaries until capitalizing on those billions. Not the least since the product they acquired is already top notch and amidst the most competitive in it's domain at the time. Have I said 3 x $1B? That's right! First is plain old financial markets arbitrage. If that doesn't make a trillion (as long we can keep intellectual property) at least propels us into the light. Of next billion dollar ideas. Of which there are aplenty. At least two that is.
