My broker is Advantage Futures and I found this in my monthly statement:

What is this and why does my broker charge this to me? I am a non-pro trader. I use two simultaneous Rithmic connections but I cannot find any information about this cost in my brokerage statement. Does the inactivity fee also cover my Rithmic fee? When I had AMP as my broker they charged: Rithmic connection: $25, Routing: $0.1 per contract fill and NYMEX Level2 per connection: $15 without any inactivity fee.

My understand is it's related with iLink. However, I am a small retail trader using Motivewave and Quantower as trading platforms. Do I really need direct iLink access? Is this the only way when I have Advantage Futures as my broker?

I've got reply from my broker: The CME inactivity fee was charged due to lack of trading activity on our CME Rithmic iLink session. The CME charges $200 if trading 100 sides per month is not met. This fee is split between all our Rithmic users using the Advantage Rithmic iLink. This charge is separate from your Rithmic connection fees.

Only 3-4 people including me seemingly don't meet the minimum trading requirements.... :D

So in April they have 4 customers, in May only 3 but how to explain March (2.666666 customers)?
