Shout out Nodoji she inspired me to check out the 5 min 1 min 20 ema on the CL.. I'm not sure that this type of trading is for me yet so for that reason this journal will go on for one week.. If i like my results then I will continue the thread Today was a great day for scalpers.. Notice the spike at 5:30am.. To me if that spike was legit we should of continued down much further.. Now I'm looking for longs unless price action tells not too.. Also notice around 6:00am the people on the 5 min are trying to go short but they are getting their ass kicked.. This gives me more confidence to go long. Price finally pushed up decent above the 5min 20 ema around 7:00am now I'm looking for a pull back(sometimes price doesn't pull back on the 5min ema but that's another story).. Finally got a decent pull back to the 20 ema and took a long at 7:20 on the 1 min.. I held for 20 ticks because I felt price would go for the high of that 5:30 long bar.. Done for the day.. I'm looking for 30 ticks a day until my confidence grow.. Today I saw at least 5 winners but it's whatever.. Back at this on Monday (my fingers crossed)
Crazy day.. It was choppy at first then finally had some good movement.. 4 Wins 2 losses, 1 breakeven... I only snagged 20 ticks today but I'm cool with that.
