    1. Wondering if anything will be filed by the end of the day today?
    2. Wondering if he is correct that Mueller won't unleash a big story during this pre election period.
    3. Wondering if he was just speculating like mad? I would have thought he really had some hints or leaks.

I will say after reading these reports about his prediction yesterday, I expected to read a big headline this morning.

I think the media will be happy to focus on future US Supreme Ct justice Kavanaugh and then the election so they have content for the advertisers.

MSNBC’s Chuck Todd thinks all signs point to special counsel Robert Mueller making major moves on Friday.

President Donald Trump on Thursday called the inquiry into Russian meddling “an illegal investigation.”

“This is the president feeling like there’s a lot happening around him, the walls may be closing in on him, and I think he’s lashing out,” said Bloomberg’s Sahil Kapur on MSNBC’s “MTP Daily.”

Republican strategist Brad Todd, however, said Mueller has a “responsibility” to know when “he’s gone past the time limit of when he has credibility with the public.”

“What time limit are we at?” wondered Chuck Todd.

The MSNBC host said everyone who’s worked with Mueller believes he would have ended the investigation already if there was no evidence of collusion.

He also said Mueller would “keep quiet” between Labor Day and November’s midterm elections so as not to be accused of interfering politically.

Daniella Gibbs Léger of the Center for American Progress predicted Mueller would drop big news in January as a result.

But Chuck Todd said it could be a whole lot sooner.

“I’ll be honest with you: I’m not missing work tomorrow,” he said, referring to Friday, the last business day before Labor Day. “I wouldn’t miss work tomorrow.”

He later added: “Not to be totally cliche, but 5 o’clock tomorrow is a big deadline, isn’t it?”

  3. Not to worry. Mueller charged Tony Podesta- the brother of Clinton's campaign manager and the arranger for funding the dossier- with failing to register and then gave him immunity.

I am sure Mannafort associates will receive equal treatment. OR NOT.

Since there is so little time left in the east coast work day...

Will Mueller learn from Comey and not interfere with elections during the post election day?

By the way if nothing pops in these last 30 minutes I think we can say Chuck played himself.... seriously played himself. I really can not believe he told news people to no miss work on the Friday before a 3 day end of summer weekend.

but this is the headline at drudge right now..

  7. There could be some announcements in the next week or so not because Chuck Todd is a savant or an insider or any type of journalists. There is a DOJ written policy that says that -where possible- no major announcements or actions will be taken within 60 days of an election (comey mucked up there) and so Mueller and company are up against that timeline in many instances. So there could be some of that, but that doesn't make Chuck Todd into Miss Cleo or a journalist or anything even if it had happened. He probably was listening to one of his dipshit "sources," Lanny Davis types who go flaccid at a moments notice after their weed wears off.
