    Big Chocolate's big case at the U.S. Supreme Court, in which Nestlé USA and Cargill argue they aren't responsible for human rights abuses in Ivory Coast cocoa farms, could prove to be a big deal for corporate America. As Fortune's Vivienne Walt writes: "It could have major implications for American businesses, whose labyrinthine global supply chains may reach into poor countries with patchy labor conditions far away from corporate headquarters."     End result will be those poor workers end up losing their jobs.

    Yep, it always gets very messy and complicated when we put our rich Western ideals on poor nations.

    Remember, massive amounts of human rights abuses in our countries 100-200+ years ago. Boys working down mines (Olivier Twist up chimneys), little girls working semi-slave labour in the mills etc. We made progress on such matters but it took time. Africa will also make progress with time...
