China SHFE to list aluminium and zinc futures options

    The Shanghai Futures Exchange will start trading aluminium and zinc options from August 10.

    SHFE Aluminum Futures Option Contract Specifications and Zinc Futures Option Contract Specifications of the Shanghai Futures Exchange, which have been approved by the Shanghai Futures Exchange Board of Directors and reported to the China Securities Regulatory Commission, are hereby released and effective.

    I doubt foreigners can trade SFE products

    I heard that this market is opening up and it's easy to trade with WOFE in China
     
  4. Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE) is a branch of SHFE and allows for international trade in sour crude, fuel oil and rubber. I wouldn't rule out aluminum and zinc making it to the international market. Makes for strong spreading opportunities between LME (HKEX) and INE (SHFE).
