What I find funny, China would not be considered an incredible rich nation if it wasn't for USA. Since old man Walton, Walmart, died, 98% USA made went out the window and we only produce dumb assholes who complain about tariffs.
I think you need to look at this from two different angles. One is that the US is able to sustain its economy far better than any other country. That's because, unlike others, we're not dependent on exports. We can get by without importing goods from other country, nor do we need to export our goods to others. However, this isn't the case with countries like China, Canada or Mexico, which Trump knows and he's using that as a weapon. That said, the larger problem that will eventually undermine the US is its debt, which is pretty much financed by other countries, those who Trump is currently thumping his nose at. If they should collectively dump USD en masse, it could have a cataclysmic repercussion that could seriously impact our credit market. Remember what happened in 2008 due to a sudden credit freeze? Is Trump and his cronies even aware of this possibility? Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me if they're aren't, considering they don't give a fck about this country other than their fat belly.
