Just wait and see how significant the damage will be to our economy. This is going to be extreme.....
China mexico and canada are going to retaliate so fucking hard you are going to wish you didn't know what a tarriff was....i wouldn't doubt that after a few weeks or months trump pulls back the tarriffs only because of the detrimental damage he is going to do to tbe US....this is not a game. He has no clue what he just started. These countries are going to fuck us hard!!!

Trump will only admit he has done an error if the market goes down ca. -25% or so (if he ever makes a mistake from his side). Then he will shout (more).

    Super duper awesomeness.

Everything is going to skyrocket. Inflation will be soaring once again....

rates will be jacked up back to 5%%%%

Jonathan Wilkinson, Canada's minister of energy and natural resources, said the tariffs will cause economic pain in the U.S. and Canada, calling the situation a "lose, lose proposition for both countries." "We will see higher gasoline prices as a function of energy, higher electricity prices from hydroelectricity from Canada, higher home heating prices associated with natural gas that comes from Canada, and higher automobile prices," Wilkinson told CNBC's Megan Cassella in an interview.

Canada & Mexico probably wouldn't dare to retaliate as they are not powerful enough.

China the next Superpower is powerful enough to retaliate.
Who knows, President Xi will visit the

    - rare earth mine/factory,
    - military shipyard
    - hyper-speed missile factory
    ...
    soon.

The US don't have tons of those things.

What I find funny, China would not be considered an incredible rich nation if it wasn't for USA. Since old man Walton, Walmart, died, 98% USA made went out the window and we only produce dumb assholes who complain about tariffs.

I think you need to look at this from two different angles. One is that the US is able to sustain its economy far better than any other country. That's because, unlike others, we're not dependent on exports. We can get by without importing goods from other country, nor do we need to export our goods to others. However, this isn't the case with countries like China, Canada or Mexico, which Trump knows and he's using that as a weapon.

That said, the larger problem that will eventually undermine the US is its debt, which is pretty much financed by other countries, those who Trump is currently thumping his nose at. If they should collectively dump USD en masse, it could have a cataclysmic repercussion that could seriously impact our credit market. Remember what happened in 2008 due to a sudden credit freeze? Is Trump and his cronies even aware of this possibility? Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me if they're aren't, considering they don't give a fck about this country other than their fat belly.
