China keeping its eye on the prize: Taiwan. Quite achievable under Biden

  1. This Zero Hedge article properly outlines the scenario.

China will not make a major move right now because it is still processing the takeover of Hong Kong. And time is on Xi's side as every month under Biden is an increase in favorable conditions. The Europeans have no will and no military and don't care, and are all caught up in their internal problems. And the American military is off focused on figuring out which bathrooms their soldiers should use and how to rename military bases that may have been named after white people.

It's a great time for your country. Everything is going your way. If you are Chinese.

Biden will be entering into a non-aggression pact over Taiwan at some point. Meanwhile China has just entered into mutual support with the Russians and Iran.

Yup. Xi is not planning on leaving this earth without fulfilling his perceived destiny and legacy which is to occupy Taiwan, and he is already playing Biden and Blinken likes the keys on a piano.

China probably does need to worry a little about growing alliances between Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, though. They have long time "issues" with the Chinese and know that the Americans are not really there for them anymore. And the Japanese calls to remilitarize will grow bigtime. Which would be highly appropriate. Particularly as Little Rocket Man fucks with them now that Trump is gone. Of course North Korea just fires missiles into Japanese waters to get food supplies from Americans so probably Joe will just give them their food supplies just as the dems always have. And certainly China is back to supplying them. There is no reason on earth why anyone should fear sanctions for trading or supplying with Iran or North Korea.
