China with their Silk Road initiative has embarked on building that road all the way to Europe and painted it as a huge win for the poor, sad sap countries they give aid to build that road. Imagine being given tens of billions of Chinese loans with interest they have to pay? Oh, they got these new roads to nowhere and have very few travellers except, Chinese trucks hauling goods, to and from China? Those poor countries are realizing that they have been conned. The jobs to build those roads have to go to Chinese workers, so what benefit do the local populations of those countries get? Oh, they get the pollution and whatever dirt the Chinese leaves them. Now, China will have access to resources and good roads to easily transport their goods across those countries without having to even pay for those roads? The European Union always loved the Chinese. They are too dumb and stupid that is why. All the while, demeaning and antagonizing the US at all costs because their soyboy leaders are so weak, they cannot handle our great President Donald Trump and it infuriates them that they look so weak and inept in the face of their problems? Take note, the Chinese has a huge balance of trade with the European Union, just recently, the European Union leaders were practically, begging the Chinese to have better access to its products? Maybe, the Chinese will give them some scraps if they feel charitable. Let us see what happens. I doubt it will turn out good for the European Union.
US can redeem itself in the future. Trump's big mistake is rejecting all co-operation from traditional allies. He can take China on alone but it's much much more meaningful with Europe, Canada, Aus/NZ and maybe even Japan on board.
