Gonna go ahead and say pumpkin seeds aren't invasive. This is a brushing scam. Very common for fraudulent Amazon and Ebay purchasers. Having worked in ecommerce for a number of years competitors doing this kind of thing is frankly all too common, and generally exclusive to China. Nothing to see here. Don't plan the seeds, but also don't claim it's some sort of sophisticated operation. Seed are incredibly cheap and weigh about as much as jewelry. I think applying hanlons razor here would be prudent.
