    Hello option experts,
    What duration of charts are best to use for expiration dates?
    Eg if choosing a 30 DTE option would you use the 30 day chart and trends? If so even if the 6 month chart has the opposite trend?

    You’re mixing technical analysis with days to expiration.

    Chart preferences come from experience and what fits your personal strategy. You can use a weekly 5 year chart to trade 30DTE, it’s really subjective
