Is there a platform out there that lets you chart trade stock options? I am looking to emulate NinjaTraders chart trading, bracket orders and ATM with options on equities. I've been using TradeStation for options, but looking to upgrade to something more reliable and robust.
Medved Trader can trade options directly from a chart. It's all manual though. But it has excellent custom hot key support so that could help. They'll give you a free month trial. Good people.
Thinkorswim Copy and paste the option into the chart. It's manual but the orders show up on the chart
Most every platform does. Trading options by looking at the chart I don't think is a good idea (look at the underlying instead) but ability to enter / exit from a chart or DOM is sure nice. SierraChart: You can chart options. Can trade from chart and DOM (both one click) ThinkOrSwim: You can chart options. Can trade from chart (one+ click) and DOM (one click) TWS: You can chart options. Can trade from chart (one+ click) and DOM (one click) Edit: Your ability to chart anything in Sierra is dependent on data availability. The ability exists, but if your source can't provide the data or if Sierra guys won't deal with that particular data, then ofc you can't chart it
Question for you: I have a TS a/c too, but it is futures a/c. Minimally funded. I don't use it. Keep it around for occasional backtest and sentimental old timey reasons. What is it about TS equity a/c that you don't like and why are you planning to abandon it?
