  4. You're a crypto investor Fred.

You're one of the morons he alludes to.

In later than most of us? Yes.

Short forecast and commentary before a long move of 130%? Yes.

Buffet and Munger are/were legends.Buffet's understanding of the crypto space however(you'll have to find this years interview to fact check me) equated the technology to that of the chain letters he had observed in the 1990's.I.E no fckn idea and not even the interest to educate himself in the space.

I don't blame him at all.If I was an 85 year old billionaire with railroads to thank for my wealth,I wouldnt bat an eyelid at the early investors saying 'Get in now! Within 20 years air travel will be the norm!'

  7. Never bought (or sold) crypto. Never will.

I think the chain letter analogy is apt. Although perhaps the more modernized version is blockchain letter.

I think when it comes to "education," neither of us is in a position to critique either of these two gents. Perhaps they see the forest better. They have been seeing it better than others for decades and before either of us was born. But, yeah, I know: "This time it's different."

  8. I assumed you were invested since your change of tune in October in Barons crypto journal.

I was glad for you, that you were along for the ride.

  9. I wanted to know which exchanges you guys used because some of these exchanges have been imploding. So even if the cryptocurrency had some merit ("if" being the middle word of life), there is still the matter of exposure to potentially wonky exchanges in trading them. But no one responded and so I left it (the argument) alone. The point I had wanted to make is that profits are potentially just theoretical until they are in the form of cash in a bank account. Real cash.
