Situation is definitely too stressed up and heated right now, but we all should stay calm. Trade out of intelligence and not panic.
We are in a low volatility environment which is part of the market cycle. This is the time I like to buy stocks and options. I plan to keep adding positions. High volatility is coming soon. That is the time to be rewarded for our patience.
Statistically, low volatility market conditions last many times longer than high volatility market conditions. You prepare to keep adding for a long time or prepared to just sit (hold) and wait until high volatility market conditions return ? wrbtrader
I will keep buying till I reach my limit. Then, wait for the high volatility to return. Don't know when it is going to return. It is different for each stock anyway. So, I have stocks now that are experiencing high volatility and others just stuck in low volatility for a while. Patience is not my forte but, learning to exercise more patience. Rewards will come in due time.
We are? Have you seen what low volatility looks like? Covid 19 and '08 crash is mega extreme vol. This is still high vol.
It depends on the stock. Most stocks I see are still in low volatility. Corona Virus stocks are in high volatility. I know because I got a couple of those and have traded those. At some point volatility will explode. Only a matter of time. This is nothing compared to what is coming. That is why I am buying now. ERIC about 1 week ago was low volatility. Today, it moved much higher. High volatility now, atleast, the start of it. EBAY is low volatility now. I got in this morning. I expect higher volatility coming in too.
