Trump claimed one in three women have been sexually assaulted traveling to the border. CBS really set him straight.

Fact check: 1 in 3 women sexually assaulted while traveling to cross the border

CLAIM: The president claimed one in three women have been sexually assaulted traveling to the border.

FACT: Between 60 percent and 80 percent of female migrants traveling through Mexico are raped along the way, Amnesty International estimates.

To me... that was his most effective point.
It could me considered immoral to leave the lure of illegal immigration into the U.S out there.
Especially to those who will be harmed along the way.

  3. It's a valid point but the main point has to be that it is in the obvious interests of the US to control who crosses its borders. Dimwits can grasp that point, and the fact that democrats refuse to do so is a tremendous electoral handicap for them.

I see this just like when Schummer and Feinstein overplayed their hands on the Sup Ct issue. They pushed to far. I think the audience is the swing voter.

There are a lot of women in the suburbs who wish to do the right thing by illegal immigrants for religious and other moral reasons. Trump and those who wish to see controlled immigration have to show them where the truly compassionate side is.

  5. Jesus! I didn’t think Trump would have that much stamina at his age!

  6. I understand but if they are willing to take the risk, who is Trump to tell them they can't? Like the poor kids who get dragged here. The media doesn't blame their parents, they blame Trump. People will say, it's terrible we put those women in danger, we should just fly them up here from their home country.

    Interesting question.
If we voted to fly them up, I could accept that.

Its the violation of the rule of law which is a problem and all the problems that go with illegal immigration which are my major concerns... plus I would prefer we don't make anymore democrats.
