Didn t read the whole link, picked up the first that came in english through google, this story was relayed today in several spanish newspapers. It s not surprising, the fact that men lost around 50% of their testosterone levels already was hinted to have helped increasing life expectancy. Funny how they did the study on sheeps, encouraging mass castration should find quite some support in the pro lockdown crowd. Disgusting creatures on low testosterone that pervert human species in exchange of a little longer useless life expectancy.

Human study canceled due to lack of participants.

  3. No need to get testy about it.

there should be lots of data from China.
Lots of Eunuchs used to work in China's imperial courts.

  5. Maybe some of them are still alive today. We should ask them what they think.

    It's in the same vein:

the safe male, confined and castrated

I doubt a society that had higher testosterone levels like men used to only a few decades ago would have gone for lockdown, even less stay at home orders, to face covid

Not so sure about that, remember a doctor treating prostate cancer raving at how pleasant his patients became once they had their test levels crushed, lots of people seem to be ready to go any length destroying their humanity if it makes them feel they can push back their time of death.
I hope they won't start experimenting on humans but don't doubt participants woukd becone available with a little help from media.

  9. Really? So judgment goes out the window with higher testosterone levels? You must be maxing out on TRT, then. Which evidently also prevents you learning from history.

For the outsider, maybe. But did the patient like the new personality?

Also at what age are we doing the procedure? There is a huge difference between 40 and 70.
Maybe they need to do it fairly early to have the desired effect, but not very many men would get ride of their manhood. At 70 more men would go for it but the effect on longevity is probably much less, then why bother?

When people are giving up balls, pleasure, eating, smoking, women, whatever for more years I always remember the joke:

"An 80 year old goes to the doctor and ask him: Can you check me out and see if I can live up to 100?
OK, the doctor starts to examine him and asks questions:
    -Do you drink? No
    -Do you smoke? No
-Do you still have sex? No
-Diet? I watch what I eat, everything a little.

Then why the fuck do you want to live up to 100?"
