UK lawmakers just slapped a windfall profits tax on oil. What could go wrong, right guys? Oil is highly inflationary, start with the gas pumps, price of food and commodities, supplies for businesses all going up, all price increases passed to the UK consumer. More likely, US politicians chomping at the bit to likewise, raise taxes on oil as well. Just wait for it. So, everything is hunky dory for consumers the world over and over valued stock prices but, nothing to worry about. Buy and grow rich say the hacks. Nothing to worry about. Okay, if you say so. Let me get the popcorn. This is getting good.
