Okay. Let us understand this. All the four countries have common head of state and common language. Of course other languages like French, Maori etc are used in some territories. Still English is a common binding language. All countries have good access to technology and have good quality education and medical systems which is a big plus. UK has to compensate for its loss of business due to Brexit and they may prefer this grouping. All the countries have vast natural resources. That is again a big plus for the grouping. There are some complementary strengths that every country in the group can bring to the table like UK (Financial Markets, Legal Skills), Australia (Minerals, Agriculture) etc. The population of all the countries together is less than 140 million as of today. So the markets are still small and from that perspective, there seems to be a lot of gap that needs to be filled. 20 years from now the biggest markets are going to be China, USA, India, EU and in that order. Some of the members may dispute this order with me, but look forward for 20 years and that is the fact. Where does this CANZUK grouping fit into this world order? What would be the strong binding force between the member countries? What is the motivation to keep such a union? What are the possible friction points? These things should be evaluated. This may be a workable union and is not a bad idea at all.

Lol.. these with the US are already known to be tied by multiple military and economic agreements. Nothing new there.

Funny, the whole time the video talks and shows video clips of other nations. Guess just talking about and showing deserts in Australia, the Canadian prairies, and the British xxxxxxxxxx (fill in the gap, not even sure what to write here) might end up too boring.

Isn't a pact like this saying that people of varying cultures and religious backgrounds and ethnic backgrounds don't mix well and that the more alike people are the better the life styles and economies of such regions are?
