Can't see data loading on TWS

  1. I have problems seeing any data on TWS. All the rows of stock data have disappeared. I'm using Asian server. Anyone face same problem as me?
     
  2. I have the same problem. It worked well except trading didn't work (order couldn't be filled), so I restarted TWS, now I can't see any data.

  3. Thanks. Now, I know it's not my problem but IB's server problem.
    Are you using Asian server as well?

  6. I hope that you are aware that stock trading was halted for 15 minutes, shortly after the start of trading. Maybe you sent your order(s) during that time period.

  7. Yes. But the servers are green, everything looks good, just doesn't load anything. Before I restarted TWS, I had been using TWS for more than 10 hours, it was working well.

    Well, IB is trying to protect us. lol.
     
  8. No, I was aware of that. I traded futures, the price moved cross my order many times but didn't fill it.
     
  9. 9Mar2020 was an untradable day for Interactive Brokers customers because of the data outage. This is a risk for IB customers to take note. I have been a happy customer of IB for a long time and yesterday's experience was a huge disappointment. Not only disappointed but it makes me worried too. If IB platform goes on outage on days when it's most needed to stay in operation, the operational risk for customers is huge. As a serious customer, I don't care that you offer competitive commission and margin rates if there's a reasonable risk that your platform will go on outage on important days.

    Are there IB representatives here? Please correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm correct, please explain what happened. You do owe your brokerage customers an explanation for outage on an extremely important day when the U.S indices dropped > 7%

  10. On 9Mar2020, my experience with the customer chat support was it got disconnected halfway through the chat. Afterwards, it was unreachable and forever connecting.

    Anyone encountered the same problem?
