IB is just a mess...On main page say they're overwhelmed with inquiries. Probably because their system fell apart on those volatile days...I know it screwed me on a trade. But no you can't even create new tickets. You need to label a category and topic before submitting ticket but you cant....the dropdowns are empty
Never had any issues you are describing. Also have not seen such message on their website. Care to take Screenshots next time? Not questioning your post but there are quite a few IB haters out there and as they say... "prove it or it did not happen". Screenshots help you with IB staff and as proof in case things really go wrong and you need to file a claim.
As for the the ticketing system not working a picture showing that is useless... The drop-downs simply aren't working You coulda seen yourself if you just went to the website.
That screenshot just means what it says. Its 100% more honest and forthcoming than some other brokers that do not even offer personal support AT ALL for the small fish. Re ticket I can't speak to that as I did not have to raise any tickets for probably the past 5 years or more. Guess why? Cause I never had issues at all. FYI, I clear around 1 billion USD on a monthly basis (daily avg around 50 mil) trading leveraged fx on an algorithmic basis. I did, however, engage with IB staff multiple times per year via chat to ask some questions regarding specific features or money transfers. Took me usually less than a minute to 2-3 minutes on average before getting connected to a live person.
