Just a good Canadian pastor doing his job. Canadian pastor Derek Reimer arrested again for protesting drag queen storytime (msn.com) ACanadian pastor was arrested for the second time this month as he protested a drag queen storytime event for kids at a public library. Derek Reimer, 36, of Alberta, was taken into custody on Wednesday for breaching release orders from his previous arrest that prohibited him from being within 200 meters of events involving the LGBTQ community, Calgary Police said. Video of the arrest outside Calgary’s Signal Hill Library shows officers pulling Reimer, who refuses to walk, as the pastor’s supporters condemn them and call for his release. The pastor remained silent throughout the arrest. He was charged with one count of causing a disturbance and another count of mischief, but he also faces six other counts of harassment under the city’s law.
While conservative, I notice that you greatly falsify the story that went down. He was arrested not for any criticism. He was arrested for having violated a 200m "safe space". While I disagree with safe spaces, I guess a majority in Canada does not have an issue to prevent opposing opinionated individuals from screaming straight into your face. 200m is not a distance that I get close to those clowns anyway.
