I recently opened a new account but, it seems they don't have options for cryptos. Is that true? Otherwise, any other platforms that do it? I only know Binance. But, it offers just a few cryptos and the max length is a day... Thank you
I don’t think this is related to Interactive Brokers or any particular stock broker. They let you trade whatever is available on stock and future exchanges and permitted by your government. The largest crypto options exchange is Deribit (not related to stock brokers like Interactive Brokers) but US government doesn’t allow me to trade those options, so I can only trade options on mildly crypto-related ETFs. For crypto options there really isn’t anything nearly as liquid as Deribit.
CME options on bitcoin futures are not available at IB but options on MSTR are available. This is a proxy for bitcoin as they have issued convertible bonds and bought bitcoin. See Michael Saylor on YouTube. He is on every crypto channel.
Similar to MSTR; RIOT and MARA. https://cryptobriefing.com/mining-firm-marathon-joins-microstrategy-defacto-bitcoin-investment/
