Just wondering what other's experience is with this. I feel like I have trouble paying attention in conversations and reading comprehension, and I'm wondering if staring at charts is responsible.
Yes. Its not just staring at charts. I think being a professional trader will ultimately cause your brain to rewire in possibly sociopathic ways.
The same thing happens when you sit on the sofa too much while watching too much TV along with a lack of exercise. Thus, if you're online all day and not looking at any charts...you will have difficulty paying attention in conversations, reading comprehension problems, vision problems, and other health/mental problems. wrbtrader
staring at charts is stupid to begin with, so i doubt you can get much stupider if you're already doing it.
don't get me wrong, there is such a thing as too much info, but this perspective is so dated and completely misunderstands all the advances in understanding data. I mean the experiments in tulip heights back in the 19 whatevers before computers was way ahead of these ludites.
