    Hi,
here my question, I would like to know if a private trader can become an IB without strating up a firm. Or He should start up a firm before starting as IB?
    thanks

He/she can be a sole proprietetor registered with the NFA. Go to their webpage and do the research. It's all there.

Sure, just register with your favorite SRO and all the jazz that comes with that (regular examinations, etc).

But you're taking on unlimited liability for regulatory fines, etc. Why would you want to do that?
