I do consulting for QuantTerminal and am looking for someone who can help out with projects. The ideal person is someone who is strong in C#, is actively doing quant consulting and has availability. I have built a framework for creating strategies that integrates with QuantTerminal so the work would primarily be building solutions for customers within the context of this framework. Within the next 30 days I will have a build of the framework where those interested can try it out and see if it is something they are interested in. In the meantime, respond here or send a PM to learn more.

    thanks

you have customers already and the framework still has 30 days effort?

better option is to just provide a slick ui with blinking numbers and lights, buttons that do not work, and a random report with nice graphics.

The framework is not fully "commercialized" in terms of users being able to download it, use a trial license, etc. I use it for my own trading as do several clients I work with.

care to elaborate. Would be great to hear by you think c# is not a good choice for a quant. We not talking HFT here.

I realize python is the ideal language for quant research in terms of available libraries, etc...but for a smaller shop (me) that cannot afford to do research in one language and then porting to C/C++ for execution, C# does the job just fine.

What can python do that c# can not ?

Nothing....just a larger ecosystem of quant related libraries.
